The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program has promised agressive enforcement and it is making good on its promise. With increased funding and increased manpower, the OFCCP is increasing the number and types of contractors that it is auditing and the amount of damages that it is seeking. Entities that traditionally have not considered themselves to be contractors, including hospitals and certain medical providers, may soon find themselves subject to an OFCCP audit. Even experienced federal contractors have been caught off guard by the OFCCP's new focus and ever-changing practices.
