Conducting Effective Employee Investigations

Conducting effective internal investigations of employee misconduct has become an increasingly important aspect of managing any business.  Poorly conducted investigations impact employee morale and productivity, and can result in significant liability for employers.  At this Labor and Employment Briefing, Hannah Meils will discuss employer investigations into various employee complaints and allegations of misconduct, planning and conducting an effective investigation, documenting each step of an investigation, and proper employer responses when an investigation is concluded.

Update on Health Care Reform

Ann Mackey will discuss new regulations issued on: How to Maintain Your Status as a Grandfathered Plan, Pre-Existing Condition Exclusions, Annual and Lifetime Dollar Limits, Rescissions of Coverage, Coverage of Out-of-Network Emergency Services, Designation of Primary Care Physicians, Coverage of Preventive Care Services and the New Claims Processing Regulations.

Pending CLE and HRCI credit.

Register early. Please RSVP via e-mail to Kelly Sharpe at ksharpe@taftlaw.com or  317-713-3441.
