The Professional Women’s Resource Group (PWRG) of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP invites you to join us for our Breakfast Forum Series with Carolyn Pione, Business Editor of the Cincinnati Enquirer
Carolyn Pione’s department includes two assistant business editors and seven reporters, who cover real estate, banking, the city’s many Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble Co., Federated Department Stores and Kroger Co., retail, manufacturing, the economy, the business of sports, the arts and politics, workplace practices and other regional business topics.
Pione became business editor in July 2006 after 2 ½ years as deputy business editor. She came to the Enquirer in 2004 from Baton Rouge, La., where she was managing editor of the business journal Baton Rouge Business Report for two years. She also has served as managing editor of Country Roads magazine, a South Louisiana lifestyle magazine, and as an adjunct professor of mass communication at Louisiana State University. She began her career at The Associated Press, working in the Cincinnati bureau and the Columbus, Ohio, hub, from 1991-1994. She received her master’s in mass communication from LSU in 1996 and bachelor’s in history and literature from Miami University of Ohio in 1991. A native of Columbus, Pione lives in Hyde Park with her 7-year-old daughter.
