culture & benefits / community involvement
At Taft, we believe communities thrive when there are people willing to commit their time, energy and skills to making it happen.  That’s why our attorneys and staff participate in so many aspects of community service. Many hold or have held a variety of leadership positions, serving on boards of bar associations, as well as boards of education, of symphony orchestras, of other arts organizations, not to mention the boards of religious, charitable and civic organizations. Many volunteer their help to organizations ranging from health centers and food banks to Special Olympics, the American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity. We also have a long history of political service exemplified by Robert A. Taft, one of our firm’s founders, who served as a United States senator from 1938 until his death in 1953, as well as former Ohio governor, Robert A. Taft II.

Ultimately, our firm's success depends upon the talent and dedication of our people. Evidence of our firm's success in attracting and developing exceptional individuals is the prominence our attorneys have achieved not only in their areas of practice, but also in the community leadership they provide through political, business and civic service.
