BENJAMIN W. HAGER is an attorney in the Tax Practice Group at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.  He received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he was elected to Order of St. Ives.  Mr. Hager graduated cum laude with a B.A. in accounting from Transylvania University. 

His practice consists primarily of representing clients in tax controversies, and counseling individuals and businesses with respect to transactional tax matters.  Mr. Hager assists clients in civil tax controversies during examination, administrative appeal, and litigation.  In addition, he counsels and advises clients in criminal tax investigations.  Mr. Hager has experience in various transactional tax matters relating to limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations, and individuals.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Bar Association Taxation Section, and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
