Byron K. Mason

BYRON K. MASON is a member of the Litigation practice group in Taft’s Indianapolis office. He has over 29 years of experience as a litigator. Mr. Mason concentrates his practice on complex commercial, product liability, and mass tort litigation. As a trial lawyer, he has significant trial experience in state and federal courts. Mr. Mason is a faculty member at the Indiana Trial Advocacy College.
Mr. Mason has held many leadership and civic positions in the Indianapolis community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National City Bank of Indiana, Indiana Sports Corporation, Sports Marketing Indiana, Indianapolis Athletic Club, Community Hospitals of Indianapolis, United Way of Central Indiana, Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, 1991 World Gymnastics Championships, 1994 World Rowing Championship, 2001 World Police and Fire Games and Board of Trustees of Franklin College.
Mr. Mason earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1981 and his B.A. in political science and French from Indiana University in 1978.
