ELIZABETH A. KASTNER is a partner in Taft's Columbus office, where she is a member of the Health and Life Sciences practice group. Ms. Kastner devotes her practice to the representation of hospitals, physicians and other health care organizations regarding contractual arrangements as well as regulatory, operational and compliance matters. She regularly advises clients on vendor relationships; software licensing; Medicare/Medicaid participation and reimbursement; licensure and accreditation; health information privacy planning; and health care fraud and abuse law compliance.

Ms. Kastner graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University at Bloomington with a B.A. in criminal justice and political science. She attended law school at The Ohio State University, where she served as Managing Editor of The Ohio State Law Journal. In 2009, Nightingale's Healthcare News named her an Outstanding Young Healthcare Lawyer.
