ERIN NAVE is a member of the Litigation and Business Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Practice Groups in Taft’s Indianapolis office. Ms. Nave earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
Ms. Nave focuses her practice on commercial litigation, including contract disputes, creditors’ and debtors’ rights, bankruptcy litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, and commercial collections. She routinely appears before judges in both state and federal court.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nave served as a judicial extern for the Honorable David Katz, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and worked in Washington University’s Civil Justice Clinic, where she represented low-income victims of domestic violence in the St. Louis courts. Ms. Nave’s scholarly work has been published in Washington University's Journal of Law & Policy and Columbia University’s National Black Law Journal. She is active in the pro bono community and has handled pro bono litigation matters for the Marion Superior Court Family Court Project and the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic.
