SUZANNE SUMNER practices in Government Contracts Law and commercial litigation. She assists prime contractors, subcontractors and public buyers with nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, supply agreements, solicitations, contracts, subcontracts, name changes and novations. She also assists clients with federal government contract compliance reviews and internal company investigations. She represents clients in arbitration disputes, bid protests before agencies and the GAO, and the filing and litigation of claims before Federal courts and boards of contract appeals.
Earlier in her legal career, Ms. Sumner worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as an Air Force Judge Advocate and as a Workers’ Compensation Hearing Officer. She is licensed to practice in Ohio, Colorado, Alaska and the District of Columbia. She is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. She is on the Board of the Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association and is also a member of the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association and the Electronic Engineering and Manufacturers Group. Suzanne is a member of the Dayton, Ohio, Colorado, Alaska, Washington DC and American bar associations. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and her law degree from the University of Denver.
