HAYLEY B. WILLIAMS' practice includes general health care law, fraud and abuse, Medicare billing and compliance, and regulatory and business transactions. Ms. Williams has experience in advising and counseling owners, operators, and managers of long term care facilities, including MRDD providers, waiver program providers, and intermediate care facilities, on a multitude of legal and business issues.
Ms. Williams’ practice also includes a variety of public sector matters including municipal, school, and public/private sector partnerships. Ms. Williams advises elected officials and administration departments on various issues including competitive bidding, public records, risk management, and various policy and procedure drafting. Ms. Williams acts as the Assistant Law Director for the City of Independence.
Ms. Williams was involved with the Drug Policy and Public Health Strategies Clinic at the University of Maryland. While in law school, Ms. Williams was an intern with Johns Hopkins Health System Office of General Counsel involved with the analysis and implementation of their Homeland Security protocols and HIPAA compliance program. Ms. Williams received a certificate in Health Care Law from the University of Maryland School of Law Program for Law and Health Care. Additionally, Ms. Williams is on the Executive Council of the Health Law Section of the Cleveland Bar Association. She is also a member of the Ohio Bar Association, the Ohio Health Care Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association. Ms. Williams is recognized as a 2010 Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star.
