ERIC JOHNSON is a partner in the Business and Finance department of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. He is a graduate of Indiana University (with distinction, Phi Beta Kappa) and received his J.D. from Stanford Law School. Mr. Johnson focuses on general corporate and contract matters, mergers and acquisitions and insurance regulation and insolvencies. He has assisted many clients (both buyers and sellers) in merger, acquisition and joint venture activities in diverse industries. In the insurance regulatory area, Mr. Johnson has handled the formation and acquisition of insurance companies and insurance holding companies for clients and advised insurance clients on regulatory compliance issues. In the insurance insolvency area, he has represented the Indiana Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association in connection with dozens of insurance liquidations across the United States.
