MICHAEL CHAMBERS represents clients in all aspects of environmental law, including litigation, regulatory advice and environmental due diligence. His litigation practice has included representation of companies in environmental cost recovery and contribution actions, administrative appeal and judicial review of governmental enforcement actions, toxic tort suits, regulatory takings and zoning matters.
Mr. Chambers’ regulatory practice has included advising companies and individuals on the applicability of various environmental statutes and regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, TSCA, numerous state soil and groundwater clean-up standards, underground storage tank rules, competitive bidding statutes, and hazardous materials transportation regulations.
Mr. Chambers also advises clients on environmental issues raised by mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions.
