DAVID BLACHLY is a member of the Business Law Practice Group. He counsels small to middle-market and high growth businesses. His practice includes providing services in connection with acquisitions and sales of businesses, strategic planning, business restructurings, strategic alliances, joint ventures, licensing agreements and other commercial contracts.
Mr. Blachly also has substantial experience in a variety of insurance regulatory and transactional matters. Mr. Blachly has been involved in merger and acquisition transactions in the insurance industry, involving a variety of insurance entities, including stock and mutual insurers, reciprocals and agencies. Mr. Blachly provides regulatory and corporate advice on assumption/novation reinsurance, investment law issues, redomestications, company formation and licensing, agency licensing and examination issues, and holding company act compliance.
