GEORGE T. GLOVER is managing director of Taft Stettinius & Hollister's governmental affairs group, Focused Capitol Solutions LLC. After a 16-year career with The Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company and Cinergy Corp., he created GTG and Associates in 1997. Mr. Glover's career in the utility industry included developing and maintaining professional relationships with elected officials in the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, the Ohio General Assembly, U.S. Congress, Office of the Governor and several regulatory and administrative agencies in state government. He designed and implemented political action committees and grassroots programs, and participated in a variety of forums that included public testimony and corporate fund-raising activities. Mr. Glover's numerous civic activities include leadership roles in several non-profit and volunteer organizations in Southwest Ohio. GTG and Associates currently represent a variety of private, public and non-profit clients. Mr. Glover's responsibilities include the development and implementation of legislative and regulatory initiatives in the public policymaking process by providing government relations, strategic planning, grassroots organization and fund-raising capabilities at the local, state and federal levels of government. On January 1, 2003 GTG and Associates became affiliated with Focused Capitol Solutions LLC. They currently have offices in Cincinnati and Columbus.
