David C. Evans

DAVID C. EVANS is a co-director of Taft Business Consulting LLC. He is a corporate executive with a strong operating background and global perspective from having spent many years with some of the most respected business organizations in the world. He will be focused on providing strategic consulting services to middle market clients, both in support of existing clients and potential new clients for Taft Business Consulting and its affiliates.
Evans graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in aeronautical/ astronautical engineering and a minor in international relations. He has also received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. In 1986 he joined the General Electric Company and rose through the organization's executive ranks. He has worked in six different GE Businesses, including GE Aircraft Engines, GE Capital, GE Aerospace, GE Corporate, GE Information Services, GE Medical Systems, and the Boston Consulting Group. During his tenure at the General Electric Company, Evans held several positions in Engineering and Manufacturing providing technical leadership in design, flight test programs, production operations and supply chain management. In addition to his technical experience, he had several assignments in international sales/marketing and program management and as a General Manager with Profit and Loss responsibility. When Evans was with the GE Capital Corporation he worked in the high technology venture capital group in the digital commerce and in a strategic planning capacity. At the Boston Consulting Group he was involved in the retail industry. He has received several management awards and national recognition through the National YMCA Black Achievers in Industry Award.
