MICHAEL S. WILLIAMS is an attorney in the Tax and Private Client Departments of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Mr. Williams’ practice consists primarily of matters related to tax, probate, and estate planning issues. He provides legal counsel to individuals and business entities regarding all aspects of federal and state tax issues, including state and local tax, employee benefits, executive compensation and general tax. He provides legal counsel to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations regarding all aspects of their enterprise. Mr. Williams also advises individuals about estate planning and probate matters.
With an undergraduate degree in accounting and business management from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Mr. Williams then received his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. While there, he was managing editor of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review and was a Corporate Law Fellow. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. Mr. Williams is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
