LISA K. WISEMAN is a partner in the Dayton office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. She received her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude, from Wright State University, and law degree, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law. Ms. Wiseman focuses her practice in estate planning and probate. She advises clients on a broad range of personal and succession planning matters, including planning for lifetime gifts and transfers at death, estate planning for families with children with disabilities and asset protection planning. In addition, she assists clients with trust and estate administrations and represents clients in guardianship proceedings. As a part of her practice, Ms. Wiseman also counsels clients regarding a variety of gift and estate tax issues.

Ms. Wiseman is board certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association Specialty Board. She serves as Vice President of the American Cancer Society's Greene County Volunteer Leadership Council. She is a former chair, and current member, of the Dayton Bar Association's Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Committee; a past President, and current member, of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton (n.k.a the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Dayton); and former trustee of Culture Works' Board of Trustees. She serves on The Disability Foundation's Board of Directors, The Dayton Art Institute's Planned Giving Committee, the Dayton Bar Association's Bar Exam and Qualification Committee, Wright State University's Planned Giving Advisory Council, the Children's Medical Center of Dayton Planned Giving Advisory Committee and the American Cancer Society's Montgomery County Colorectal Cancer Task Force. She also is a member of the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG). Ms. Wiseman has been selected and recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America and a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
