CHRISTOPHER A. KUHNHEIN is an attorney in the Business and Finance Practice Group in the Cincinnati office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.  Mr. Kuhnhein received his law degree in 2005 from University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he served as Law Review Student Articles Editor. He received his undergraduate degree in history and German from Centre College in 1999, graduating cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.  Mr. Kuhnhein’s practice concentrates on Franchise and Distribution law and all types of transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, corporate structure and governance, and securities work.  Mr. Kuhnhein has experience representing several regional franchisors and franchisees in a variety of industries and has assisted clients in the design and planning of several start-up franchise systems.  Transactions in which Mr. Kuhnhein has been involved include the negotiation of a $580 million credit facility on behalf of one of the firm’s public company clients, the sale of a prominent local sports tournament, and the purchase and sale of several small and medium-sized businesses.

Mr. Kuhnhein is a guest judge for the 'We the People' Academic Team (studying and competition related to the Constitution of the United States) at Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Ohio and Kentucky.
