BRIAN E. AMBROSIA is an associate in the Litigation and Labor and Employment Practice Groups in the Cleveland office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. His practice involves the comprehensive representation of a wide range of clients in an array of complex civil and employment litigation matters. Mr. Ambrosia has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs for state and federal courts and other forums. He often counsels clients on how to incorporate best practices within their organization to avoid litigation and regularly assists clients in analyzing and evaluating the risks and rewards of engaging in litigation.

Since joining Taft, Mr. Ambrosia has successfully tried cases and argued various motions before judges and magistrates in courts across Northeast Ohio. Additionally, he has drafted appellate briefs for the Seventh and Eighth District Courts of Appeals and successfully argued before the Eighth District Court of Appeals. In addition to extensive experience in traditional litigation, Mr. Ambrosia has experience in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Ambrosia graduated with honors from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2002, majoring in finance and management information systems. In the spring of 2005, he graduated with honors from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, where he served as the Executive Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review and was the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Commercial Law. 

Mr. Ambrosia is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  He is honored as a 2012 Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star in the category Employment Litigation: Defense.
