MAJEED G. MAKHLOUF is a skilled litigator who focuses his practice—and writes and speaks regularly to professional and business groups—on complex business and commercial litigation, real estate and land use litigation, public law litigation, and appellate litigation. He has been repeatedly selected by Law & Politics magazine and Cincinnati Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of business litigation. Benchmark Litigation, the definitive guide to America's leading business litigation attorneys, named him a Future Star for 2008. Inside Business magazine named Majeed as one of only 15 Young Legal Leaders in Northeast Ohio.
Majeed received his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law, where he served as the Articles and Symposium Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. He received his undergraduate degrees in international economics and management and political science, graduating cum laude, from Hiram College.
Majeed is fluent in Arabic. He is a graduate of the Ramallah Friends Schools in Ramallah, Palestine, and holds an Advanced Level GCE degree in Classical Arabic from the University of London.
Majeed is also a member of Taft’s Diversity Committee.
