LORI E. JEFFRIES, a partner in the Business and Finance Department, received her bachelor's degree from Miami University and her Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, magna cum laude and Order of the Curia. While in law school, she served as the General Issue Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review. Ms. Jeffries joined the firm in 1997. She counsels clients on a wide variety of general business matters but her practice is concentrated on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, bank loans and other financing transactions, real estate matters and securities offerings. She is a member of the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG).

Ms. Jeffries is a minority owner and board member of Coney Island, Inc. and Leisure Systems, Inc. She currently volunteers with 100 Wise Women, a women’s mentoring group, and is Treasurer for the Parents Association at her sons’ school, Cincinnati Country Day. Ms. Jeffries is a former board member of Madcap Productions Puppet Theater and Historic Southwest Ohio.

Ms. Jeffries was selected by Cincinnati Magazine as a 2005 Super Lawyers Rising Star and by 100 Wise Woman as a Wise Woman in 2006. She was a member of the first We Lead Class, which is sponsored by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce.
